As technology evolves at a rapid pace, so too must our approach to communications. That's why we've invested in understanding and harnessing the power of generative AI tools. We’re also tracking the sentiment around AI innovation and brand loyalty, and have authored pieces around transparent communications and storytelling as a roadmap for responsible AI.
By staying at the forefront of technological advancements, we empower our team and clients to communicate more effectively in an ever-changing landscape.
One of the most pressing challenges in the communications industry is the need for more diversity and inclusion. At Mission North, we've proactively addressed this issue through initiatives like "Foster the Future." This collaborative effort with the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Foundation and other agencies aims to mobilize and prime our industry for change by providing scholarships, fellowships, and professional development opportunities to diverse communications students and mid-level professionals. By open-sourcing our program, we invite other agencies to join us in this crucial mission.

We are fully committed to prioritizing social impact alongside profit. That's why we became a benefit corporation in 2022. Through initiatives like our e3thos program, we invest 2% of our profit and time in nonprofits fighting for equity, education, and the environment, ensuring our work benefits our clients, communities, and the planet.

Our commitment to innovation is reflected in tangible metrics that demonstrate the impact of our efforts. In 2023, we tripled revenue for our Sustainability practice, secured 24 customer wins—including those of industry leaders like Zoom and Mozilla Foundation—and achieved positive Net Promoter Scores (NPS) from both customers (60) and employees (52).
Furthermore, our Foster the Future fellowship received over 50 applications, highlighting the demand for initiatives that nurture diverse talent in the PR industry.
