This is an opportunity to be a founding member of our research & insights team on the Mission North Digital Studio. This role will report to Andre Smith.

- Be an expert user of Mission North’s suite of digital tools (Quid, Affinio, Brandwatch) effectively teaching account teams how to use and leverage outputs for enhanced strategic insights
- Play an active role on Mission North’s Impact team, which serves the entire agency on Research & Insights product development, employee engagement and training. Some of the responsibilities of the Impact team include:
- Develop and introduce new ways to assess measurement across Mission North activities
- Evolve our Impact Playbook to incorporate more strategic use of our Research & Insights products to demonstrate the value of the earned media campaigns that our teams execute on.
- Evolve monetization strategy of our Research & Insights products
- Digital campaign implementation: Leverage outputs from research and analytics (audience analysis) to inform and execute paid advertising campaigns
- Leveraging insights: Distil key media insights that will inform messaging projects, new business opportunities, media strategy development (paid, earned and owned), client and competitor SOV and measurement/KPI tracking etc.
- Participate in integrated research and analytics assignments, which include social and traditional media monitoring, analytics, and use of primary and secondary methodologies.
- Analyze data, draft reports, and collaborate with team members to contribute findings to client discussions and presentations.
- Manage data collection and data synthesis.
- Develop and report on KPIs, dashboards and scorecards.
- Conduct secondary "desk" research and collaborate on research briefs to inform clients and communications teams on a variety of industries.
- Recommend communications-centric solutions based on the research results.
- Stay current with the latest measurement trends, as well as relevant industry trends.
